Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for Teacher Training Program 2024
Japanese Embassy has launched a new MEXT Scholarship program this year.
This program is designed for current teachers at basic to higher secondary school and others to be trained in the education department of a Japanese university. It is not intended for the purpose of obtaining a degree.
Participants can apply for courses that match their own expertise from a wide range of fields.

The requirements are as follows and the application deadline is February 4th (sun), 2024. Please check the guidelines for details.
- Be under 35 years old.
- Graduated from a university or teacher training college
- Have worked as a teacher (at a basic to higher secondary school) for at least 5 years.
- Currently a teacher at a basic to higher secondary school or at a teacher training college (excluding universities).
- Must return to his/her former educational institution to continue teaching after completion of the scholarship.
