I did MBBS from TU Institute of Medicine, Mahargunj in 1999. Then I completed my internship in 2000. After working for several months as a medical officer, I joined Neurosurgery which was just developing in Nepal that time. I completed basic level of Neurosurgery in Nepal in different hospitals for about 4 years. Then I went to Japan for further study in neurosurgery and did PhD. After coming back in Nepal in early 2008, I worked in NORVIC Hospital as a consultant neurosurgeon for about 8 years till 2015 and then moved to B & B Hospital and worked there as a head of department (HOD) and chief neurosurgeon till the end of 2022. I have been working in Kathmandu Neuro & General Hospital as a HOD and a chief neurosurgeon till date. I am migrating to USA in this September and will work there as a neurosurgeon in University of Iowa Hospital.
